Your first visit

A first evaluation, at an hour that works

For adults who want to talk to a prescriber about sleep, focus, mood or energy and cannot get to an office before five.

You sit down with Cedric for 60 minutes. He asks about your history, what you take now, how your shifts and sleep run and what you would like to be different. He explains the options and the risks of each, and you decide together what, if anything, to start.

Bring with you

  • The names of the medicines you take, from the bottles or your pharmacy app

  • A list of your usual shifts, or a photo of the roster

  • The name of your primary care clinician, if you have one

  • Any questions you want to ask

The visit

What happens, in order

  • 01

    Before the visit

You complete intake forms on our own portal and read your written fee estimate.

  • 02

    The first 40 minutes

Cedric listens and asks. You can skip a question or ask why he is asking it.

  • 03

    The last 20 minutes

He explains what he sees, the options and the risks of each, and you choose.

  • 04

    Before you go

You leave with one next step in writing and the date of your next visit.

What this is not

A first evaluation is not a crisis visit, and it does not end with a medicine on every visit. If a medicine is not right for you, Cedric says so, and if you need a different kind of care he gives you names. Prescribing decisions follow our prescribing policy.

Your clinician sets the pace with you. We do not promise a number of visits, and what you take, if anything, is a decision you make with him.

How it is paid

A first evaluation is a set length, and its fee is given in writing before you book.

Three questions about a first visit

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. Tell us when you book. You can also have the first part of the visit on your own.

Will I leave with a prescription?

Maybe, after the evaluation. Never a controlled medicine at the first visit. See our prescribing policy.

What if my shift runs over?

Call the office. If you cannot make the slot we move it, and our cancellation notice is 24 hours.
